harp on a plane..

Howard Levy says that he trained himself to play so softly that he
could practice entire concertos while sitting on a plane, without
disturbing the passenger next to him.

He learned this basically out of necessity. He was once preparing for
an important concert, while staying at some cheap motel. A newlywed
couple was getting it on in the adjacent room, and because the walls
were so thin he could hear everything. He had no choice but to play
super softly so no one would be able to hear him in other rooms.
